Wednesday 1: Please pray for the US staff of African Leadership as we seek to serve leaders who matter in the hard places in Africa.  Pray for God’s leading and His continued blessing upon this ministry.

Thursday 2: Please pray for our Country Directors throughout Africa as they come alongside the teachers and trainers of our Applied Education program.

Friday 3:  Praise the Lord for our project partners throughout Africa as they carry out the work of Community Investment.  Pray for them as they seek to serve the members of their communities in the name of Jesus.

Saturday 4:  Please pray for South Sudan. As political in-fighting continues, please join us in prayers of protection and peace for our Country Director Tito Oturo, his family, and the country of South Sudan.

Sunday 5: Please pray for the women and children who are involved in the Women at Risk program in Ethiopia that they would know God as their Father, Redeemer and Strength.

Monday 6: We praise God for everyone who supports this ministry through prayer and financial support!

Tuesday 7: Please pray for Pastor Mezack, our Country Director from Rwanda and Burundi, as he is back with us for a few days before traveling home to Rwanda.  Please pray for a fruitful time together and for traveling mercies as he returns home.

Wednesday 8:  Please pray for the Fabulous Friends for Africa as they prepare for their annual Valentine's Party which is just a month away!  Please pray for all the details to come together as this event raises support for both our Applied Education and the Lizulu Orphan Care program in Malawi.

Thursday 9:  Please pray for Asrat Birhanu Gizaw, our Country Director in Ethiopia as he continues to equip the men and women in the Applied Education classes there.

Friday 10: Praise God for the many men and women who are bringing the good news of Jesus to Africa’s hard places!

Saturday 11: Please pray for Monica Odero as she serves those infected with HIV/AIDS in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the ministry of HEKO (Heritage Kenya Organization).

Sunday 12: Please pray for our Country Director in Botswana, Bakae Makgana, as he serves the men and women in our Applied Education classes there.

Monday 13:  Please pray for the Lord’s protection and care of our Country Director in Egypt as he continues to serve faithfully even amidst strong persecution.

Tuesday 14:  We thank God for Jonathan Titus-Williams, our Country Director in Sierra Leone and the clean water project he has initiated using the training he received through our Common Grounds Handbook.

Wednesday 15:  Please pray for Patson Netha, our newly appointed Country Director in Zimbabwe. Pray for him as he gets acquainted with the systems and the students and teachers with whom he'll be working.  We praise God for leading us to Pastor Netha!

Thursday 16: We praise God for all those who support children through the Adziwa child sponsorship program!

Friday 17:  Please pray for Ruben Nkhata, our Country Director in Malawi.  Pray for him as he serves the men and women in our Applied Education classes there.

Saturday 18: Please pray for all the men and women attending one of our Applied Education classes, that their eyes and heart would be opened to the truths of God's Word.  May God grant them wisdom and understanding in order that they may teach others of His great Love.

Sunday 19:  Plans for Ellie’s Run for Africa 2014 are underway.  Please pray for the volunteers who put many hours of hard work into raising money for New Dawn Educational Centre in the Huruma slum outside of Nairobi Kenya.

Monday 20:  Please pray that every believer in Africa will have access to a Bible in their language. At the present time only 1out of every 6 believers owns a copy of the Bible. Please pray for the upcoming "6 of 6 Bible Banquet" at Thompson Station Church.

Tuesday 21:  Please pray for the New Dawn Mji Wa Huruma Clinic and all the men and women who are served in and around the Huruma slum by this vital ministry.

Wednesday 22:  Please pray for all those who will join us on one of our upcoming Journeys to Africa.

Thursday 23:  Please pray for Mozambique Country Director Candido Mafumo who must move his family in the near future.  Please pray for funding for new housing.  Also pray for Candido as he serves the men and women in our Applied Education classes there.

Friday 24:  We praise God for adding two new members to our Board of Directors, Jane Carroll and Bill Mugford. Please pray for all the members of the Board, that God would lead and direct all their decisions regarding the ministry of African Leadership.

Saturday 25:  Please pray for the teachers and students at the New Dawn Educational Centre.

Sunday 26:  Praise God for the men and women dedicated to attending our Applied Education classes throughout Africa. Please pray for wisdom and understanding in the application of all they are learning.

Monday 27:  Please continue to pray that God would open doors and provide the funding to add Trauma Healing to our Applied Education curriculum.

Tuesday 28: Please pray for the many men and women in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS, that they may get the treatment and counseling needed to live healthy lives. Pray for the Heritage Kenya Organization and the Living Hope Health Care Center that minister to HIV/AIDS patients in a variety of ways.

Wednesday 29:  Please pray for the Lizulu Orphan Care program which serves 500 orphans with food, medical care, schooling, clothing, toiletries, & transportation.

Thursday 30:  Praise God for those who have taken on a Purpose Project to raise funds in support of our Community Investment projects.

Friday 31:  Please pray for the men and women leaving today on mission to Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Pray for God's guidance and protection as they explore and assess locations for our Common Grounds Initiative in these places.
