Ellie’s Run for Africa
|Ellie’s Run for Africa, in partnership with African Leadership, is a Nashville-area opportunity to walk alongside African children, raising funds for their education and giving them hope to get out of the slum.
Through our fundraising efforts- which include the options to either run a 5K race or simply fundraise- we bring together people of all ages to Dream Big and Take Action to help Africa.
Ellie’s Run For Africa began in 2004 with the dream of one child– 10-year-old Ellie Ambrose of Nashville, TN. Ellie was moved to act after simply seeing photos of children living in the slums of Africa.
To date, her dream has raised more than $410,000 and helped thousands of children go to school.
All funds raised through Ellie’s Run for Africa benefit African Leadership. Learn how to be an Ellie’s Run Hero
