Friday 1: We praise God for the team who traveled to the hard places of the Congo in June and for the plans born out of that journey.
Saturday 2: Please pray for our Common Ground Academy Country Director in Egypt. He and his family have some major life decisions to make and have asked for prayer as they trust God's guidance and provision.
Sunday 3: Praise God for the funding received to complete several homes in the Lizulu area! These modest homes will be rented to local families and the income will be used to support the orphan care program there.
Monday 4: Praise God for Candido Mafumo, our Country Director in Mozambique. Please pray for him and his family and those in our Common Ground Academy classes there.

Tuesday 5: Pray for the continued development of our Common Ground program in Africa so that men and women all over the continent can create sustainable change in their communities.
Wednesday 6: Praise God for our Board of Directors. Please pray for the men and women who serve this ministry as Board members as they seek God's wisdom and follow His leading.
Saturday 9: Please pray for the new class we are offering through the Common Ground Academy in Uganda, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Sierra Leone. Our Country Directors are busy identifying students and teachers for this new course on developing their community. We are prayerful that God will bring the right students and teachers to further the work of the kingdom in each of these countries.

Sunday 10: Please pray for Everton Kamangire, director of the Lizulu Orphan Care program in Malawi. Praise God for the recent funding of the playground for the children of Lizulu. Please pray for Everton as he and his staff begin building the playground.
Monday 11: Please pray for Pastor Mezack Nkundabantu, our Country Director in Rwanda and Burundi, as he mentors those in the Common Ground Academy classes there.
Tuesday 12: Please pray for our US staff as we continually seek God's wisdom and direction for this ministry.
Wednesday 13: Praise God that we have such wonderful partners in Malawi working at the Lizulu Orphan Care program. Pray for the team journeying there in September and for the efforts in raising funds to provide playground equipment for the children in the program.
Thursday 14: Please pray for the vulnerable children involved in the Adziwa child sponsorship program. Pray that their needs be met physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Friday 15: Praise God for our friends who have had the courage to take on Purpose Projects and for all those who donate to those projects.

Saturday 16: Praise God for the men who serve as African Leadership’s Country Directors throughout Africa! Please pray for them and their families as they serve the men and women in our Common Ground Academy.
Sunday 17: Please pray for Christopher Mwanza, African Leadership’s Country Director in Zambia, as he serves those in our Common Ground Academy there.
Monday 18: Please pray for African Leadership's President, John Walter, as he travels to South Africa today for a conference. Pray also for our Country Directors Tito Abaha Oturo and Geoffrey Ocan who will join him for this important conference.
Tuesday 19: Please pray for wisdom and discernment as several of our Country Directors choose new teachers to pilot our latest Academy course on Community Development.
Wednesday 20: Praise God for all who have committed to supporting our Common Ground Academy through the Spread The Word Bible Program! Please pray for the volunteers as they prepare for the Spread The Word Golf Tournament next month.
Thursday 21: Please pray for the remodeling of three classrooms at New Dawn Educational Centre in Kenya. Pray for logistics, costs, and timing to all work out to successfully help bring a better learning environment to the school and the students.
Friday 22: Please pray for the children of Africa who have become orphans at a young age. Pray that God will raise up caregivers for these children.

Saturday 23: Please pray for the many men and women in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS, that they may get the treatment and counseling needed to live healthy lives. Pray for the Heritage Kenya Organization that ministers to HIV/AIDS patients in a variety of ways.
Sunday 24: Praise God for our US affiliates who come alongside this ministry with creative ways to raise support for our work throughout Africa.
Monday 25: We praise God for the newest member of the African Leadership Family, Know Think Act. Please continue to pray for a smooth transition of their work and supporters.
Tuesday 26: Please pray that God may touch the hearts of pastors considering joining our Common Ground Academy, that they may be moved by the spirit to the ministry of the Lord.
Wednesday 27: Please pray for Cherry Friedmeyer, founder and director of Ellilta- Women at Risk in Ethiopia. Pray for her time on sabbatical resting with her family- that God grants rest and peace and a renewed sense of purpose to her ministry.
Thursday 28: Please pray for Michael Adeboye, African Leadership’s Country Director in Nigeria, as he mentors those participating in the Common Ground Academy there.
Friday 29: Please pray for the musical artists who speak about our work from stage as part of the Mocha Club. Pray that audience members would catch the vision and sign up as monthly supporters of our Common Ground Spaces.
Saturday 30: Please pray for the New Dawn Mji Wa Huruma Clinic and all the men and women who are served in and around the Huruma slum by this vital ministry.
Sunday 31: Praise God for the way He leads and guides this ministry. Please pray that His name will be glorified in all we do.
