Sunday 1:  Please pray for God's healing hand upon the father of Allison Stokes Omondi, wife of our Kenyan Country Director Dennis Omondi.  He had surgery last week and has had some complications.  Allison has asked that we pray for complete healing and peace for her dad.

Monday 2: Praise God that we have such wonderful partners in Malawi working at the Lizulu Orphan Care program. We pray that they may continue to not only change the lives of the vulnerable children that come through their doors, but continue to empower the families of those children as well.

Tuesday 3:  Pray for the Mocha Club as they continue to raise support for our Common Grounds Centers in Africa

Wednesday 4: Please pray for Irene Tongoi, the founder and director of New Dawn School in Kenya.  Pray for wisdom and direction as she leads the school staff.  Also pray for rest and time with the Lord.

Thursday 5: Please pray for BJ Omondi as he has invasive oral surgery today.  BJ is the 3 year old son of our Country Director in Kenya, Dennis Omondi and his wife Allison.

Friday 6: Please pray for the vulnerable children involved in the Adziwa child sponsorship program. Pray that their needs be met physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Saturday 7: Please pray for our Board of Directors as they gather for their quarterly meeting today.  Pray for God's wisdom and guidance as they seek His best for this ministry.

Sunday 8:  Praise God for Jonathan Titus-Williams, our Country Director in Sierra Leone.   Please pray for his family and those in our Common Grounds Academy classes there.

Monday 9: Please pray for Cherry Friedmeyer, founder and director of Ellilta- Women at Risk in Ethiopia.  Pray she knows the Lord's wisdom and direction as she leads this vital program.

Tuesday 10: Please pray for Chris Sasser, our International Coordinator and his family who live in Mombassa, Kenya where several attacks have taken place recently.  Pray for safety and wisdom for Chris, his wife and two sons at this time.

Wednesday 11:  Please pray for Geoffrey Ocan, our Country Director in Uganda, as he mentors those in the Common Grounds Academy classes there.

Thursday 12:  Please pray for healing for Christopher Mwanza, our Country Director in Zambia as he has been dealing with some health issues recently.

Friday 13: Please pray for Candido Mafumo, African Leadership’s Country Director in Mozambique, as he serves those in our Common Grounds Academy there.

Saturday 14:  Please pray for our US staff as we continually seek God's wisdom and direction for this ministry.

Sunday 15: Please pray for our team of travelers who begin their journey to the Democratic Republic of Congo today!  May God give them traveling mercies and open their eyes to see His hand guiding them throughout their visit.

Monday 16: Praise God for the men who serve as African Leadership’s Country Directors throughout Africa!  Please pray for them and their families as they serve the men and women in our Common Grounds Academy.

Tuesday 17: Please lift up and continue to pray for our beloved teachers at the New Dawn Educational Centre in Kenya as they work diligently each day to cultivate an environment of growth and love for their students.

Wednesday 18: Pray for the continued development of our Common Grounds program in Africa so that men and women all over the continent can create sustainable change in their communities.

Thursday 19: Please pray for Christian Ben Chete, Director of the Adziwa Orphan Care program in Malawi.  Pray for his leadership as he seeks God's wisdom and direction for this ministry.

Friday 20: Praise God for Denis Hangi, African Leadership’s Country Director in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Please pray for him and his family as they serve the men and women in our Common Grounds Academy there.

Saturday 21: Praise God for all who have committed to supporting our Common Grounds Academy through the Spread The Word Bible Program!  Please pray for the Spread The Word Golf Tournament this fall that will bring awareness and raise support for this vital program!

Sunday 22: Please pray for Everton Kamangire, director of Lizulu Orphan Care program in Malawi.  Pray he will know the Lord's presence as he seeks His wisdom and direction.

Monday 23: Continue to lift up Peter and Monica Odero as they minister to families affected by HIV/AIDS in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the ministry of HEKO (Heritage Kenya Organization).

Tuesday 24:  Praise God for our US affiliates who come alongside this ministry with creative ways to raise support for our work throughout Africa.

Wednesday 25: Praise God for our friends who have had the courage to take on Purpose Projects and for all those who donate to those projects.

Thursday 26: Please pray that God may touch the hearts of pastors considering joining our Common Grounds Academy, that they may be moved by the spirit to the ministry of the Lord.

Friday 27: Praise God for all of those who have offered continual support for African Leadership and our programs in Africa.

Saturday 28: Please pray for Leonard Chipangano, African Leadership’s Country Director in Malawi, as he serves those participating in the Common Grounds Academy there.

Sunday 29: Praise God for those who will journey with us to Malawi this fall to visit and encourage our partners on the ground there!  Pray that God’s plans and purposes will prevail.

Monday 30: Please pray for the New Dawn Mji Wa Huruma Clinic and all the men and women who are served in and around the Huruma slum by this vital ministry.
