Saturday 1: Please pray for our Board of Directors as they meet today.  We thank God for our new Board members Bill Mugford and Brent Hoppe.  Please pray that God would lead and direct all their decisions regarding the ministry of African Leadership.

Sunday 2: Praise God for our new office space and for all the hard work put in by both staff and volunteers as we moved in last week!

Monday 3:  Praise God for Char Beck and Matt Wertz as they journey through Africa on the Mocha Club Experience 2.0! Please pray for their safety and direction as they shoot photos and videos in several of our project locations.   (Follow them as they have a live chat today.)

Tuesday 4:  Please pray for all the men and women involved in the Common Grounds Academy, that their eyes and heart would be opened to the truths of God's Word.  May God grant them wisdom and understanding in order that they may teach others of His great Love.

Wednesday 5: Praise the Lord for our project partners throughout Africa as they carry out the work of Community Investment.  Pray for them as they seek to serve the members of their communities in the name of Jesus.

Thursday 6: Praise God for those who visited the Democratic Republic of Congo with African Leadership President John Walter last month.  Please pray for God's leading as Common Grounds with Congo begins in 2014.

Friday 7:  Please pray for Asrat Gizaw, our Country Director in Ethiopia, as he serves the men and women in our Common Grounds Academy there.  Pray that he will be encouraged as he disciples these pastors and leaders.

Saturday 8:  Praise God for the Fabulous Friends for Africa and their Valentine's Party which raised $82,000 in support for our Common Grounds Academy and the Lizulu Orphan Care program in Malawi.

Sunday 9: Please pray for the New Dawn Mji Wa Huruma Clinic and all the men and women who are served in and around the Huruma slum by this vital ministry.

Monday 10: Praise God for the Mocha Club as they raise funds to support our Common Grounds Centers throughout Africa.

Tuesday 11: Please pray for Denis Hangi, our Country Director in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as he serves the men and women in our Common Grounds Academy there.

Wednesday 12: Please pray for the women and children who are involved in the Women at Risk program in Ethiopia, that they would know God as their Father, Redeemer and Strength.

Thursday 13:  Praise God for all those who graciously support African Leadership through prayer and funding.

Friday 14: Please pray that every believer in Africa will have access to a Bible in their language. Please pray for tonight's "Spread The Word Bible Banquet" at Thompson Station Church.

Saturday 15: Please pray for Monica Odero as she serves those affected by HIV/AIDS in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the ministry of HEKO (Heritage Kenya Organization).

Sunday 16: We praise God for all those who support children through the Adziwa child sponsorship program!

Monday 17: Please pray for many in Africa to discover the freedom, peace and joy found only in the Gospel.

Tuesday 18: Please pray for Ruben Nkhata, our Country Director in Malawi, as he serves the men and women in our Common Grounds Academy there.

Wednesday 19: Please pray for the many men and women in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS, that they may get the treatment and counseling needed to live healthy lives. Pray for the Heritage Kenya Organization and the Living Hope Health Care Center that minister to HIV/AIDS patients in a variety of ways.

Thursday 20:  Praise God for those who take on a Purpose project to raise funds for our Community Investment Projects in Africa.

Friday 21: Please pray that the Gospel will be spread as pastors and leaders are trained with our 2 year curriculum.

Saturday 22: Please pray for strength and wisdom for our Country Director in South Sudan, Tito Oturo.  Please pray for rest in this new country.

Sunday 23: Praise God for Annie Downs and her Purpose project which raised more than her goal of $10,000. Pray for her and those who will journey with her to Kenya this summer.

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called-his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18-19 NLT

Monday 24: Praise God for the opportunity available to those with a heart for Africa to travel to the continent with one of our teams on an upcoming journey.

Tuesday 25:  Plans for Ellie’s Run for Africa 2014 are underway.  Please pray for the volunteers who put many hours of hard work into raising money for New Dawn Educational Centre in the Huruma slum outside of Nairobi, Kenya.

Wednesday 26:  Please pray that the Lord will stir the hearts of many people to support this ministry on an ongoing basis.

Thursday 27: Please pray for our Country Directors throughout Africa as they come alongside the teachers and trainers of our Common Grounds Academy program in 17 countries.

Friday 28: Please pray for the men and women who have graduated from the Common Grounds Academy; that their faith would grow and their boldness will increase as they share the Gospel with friends and family.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26

Saturday 29: Please pray that God would bless the spiritual seeds planted in Africa by our Country Directors, project partners, and students of our Common Grounds Academy.

Sunday 30: Pray for the churches and communities throughout Africa, that each member would grow in faith in our Heavenly Father.

Monday 31: Praise God for those whose support provides accessible education to children living in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the New Dawn Educational Centre.
