Friday 1: Praise God for all those who support African Leadership through prayer!

Saturday 2: Please pray specifically for visas to be expedited and approved for our Country Directors Tito Iranga (S Sudan) and Asrat Berhanu Gizaw (Ethiopia).

Sunday 3:  Please continue to pray for all those who were affected by the Westgate Mall tragedy in Kenya.

Monday 4:  We thank God for the men and women who participated last month in the African Leadership Golf Tournament which benefited the 6 of 6 Bible initiative!  We are thankful for the support of John Murphy and the many sponsors of this event.

Tuesday 5: Please pray for teachers throughout Africa who seek to instill a sense of equality among the students so that they may learn "the secret to living well."

Wednesday 6: Praise God for the dedicated men and women who serve on our Board of Directors.  We also praise God for author and speaker Dick Wells who facilitated our Board retreat in October.

Thursday 7: Please pray for the Tanzania Teacher Training Workshop being held next week and the leaders who are convening prior to the conference, as well as those who will be leading the development of our teachers.  Please pray for safety for those who are traveling from the US and countries in Africa to Tanzania.

Friday 8: Praise God for Irene Tongoi as God continues to work through her and the staff of New Dawn Ministries in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.

Saturday 9: Please pray for Luis Ngumbi, our Country Director in Angola, as he continues to equip the men and women in the Applied Education classes there.

Sunday 10: Please pray for the women and children who are in the midst of the Women at Risk program in Ethiopia.

Monday 11: Please pray for our Country Directors throughout Africa as they come alongside the teachers and trainers of our Applied Education program in 23 countries.

“On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.  Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Corinthians 1:10-11

Tuesday 12: Please pray as we raise funds to ship a container of desperately needed medical supplies to hospitals and health centers in Malawi.

Wednesday 13: Praise God for the many men and women who are sharing the Gospel in their communities throughout Africa.

Thursday 14: Please pray for Yohana Batano, our Country Director in Tanzania.  Please pray for courage, strength, and wisdom as he serves there.

Friday 15:  Please continue to pray with us; that God will provide the funds necessary to continue the work to which He has called us.

Saturday 16: Praise God for the men and women dedicated to attending our Applied Education classes throughout Africa. Please pray for wisdom and understanding in the application of all they are learning.

Sunday 17: Praise God for those who have taken on a Purpose Project to raise funds in support of our Community Investment projects.

Monday 18: Please pray for the many men and women in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS, that they may get the treatment and counseling needed to live healthy lives. Pray for the Heritage Kenya Organization and the Living Hope Health Care Center that minister to HIV/AIDS patients in a variety of ways.

Tuesday 19: Please pray for our "Coffee & Conversations" event at the Edgehill Cafe' taking place this evening.  Pray for God to bring those He would have there to hear from our Country Director Mezack Nkundabantu who serves in both Burundi and Rwanda.

Wednesday 20: Praise God for those whose support provides accessible education to children living in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the New Dawn Educational Centre.

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Thursday 21: Praise God for Patson Netha, our newly appointed Country Director in Zimbabwe.  Please pray for him as he gets acquainted with the program, trainers, and students.

Friday 22:  Praise God for all those who graciously support African Leadership through prayer and funding.

Saturday 23: Pray for us as we follow God’s leading into a partnership with Bible Societies in the US and across Africa to apply the healing words of Scripture to those who have experienced deep trauma in Africa.

Sunday 24: Please pray for our South African Countryl Director Allan Knowles.  We thank God for the chance to visit with Allan and his wife Lorraine as they traveled to the US in October!

Monday 25: Please pray for the Lizulu Orphan Care program which serves 500 orphans with food, medical care, schooling, clothing, toiletries, & transportation.

Tuesday 26: Praise God for the work of the Mocha Club which supports our Community Investment projects through donors giving up a few mochas a month

Wednesday 27: Please pray for the Fabulous Friends for Africa who are in the planning stages for their Valentine's Dance which raises support for African Leadership programs.

Thursday 28: As we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US, please pray for God's provision for all those in need throughout Africa!

Friday 29: Pray for the country of Egypt and its leadership, that God would provide wisdom and clarity in the days ahead. Also, continue to pray for all those serving Christ in the midst of the continuing struggle for peace.

Saturday 30:  Praise God for The People's Church in Franklin, TN who support the children in the Adziwa program in Malawi!
