Tuesday 1: Praise God for all who support African Leadership through prayer and funding!  Please pray that our staff will continually commit to the Lord whatever we do, that our plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3)

Wednesday 2: Please pray for those who have been affected by the recent tragic attack in Nairobi.

Thursday 3: Praise God for our newest Country Director.  Patson Netha will serve in Zimbabwe mentoring the teachers and students in our Applied Education network there.

Friday 4: Pray for Tito Oturo, our Sudan/Southern Sudan Director who recently lost a family member.

Saturday 5: Pray for the country of Egypt and its leadership, that God would provide wisdom and clarity in the days ahead. Also, continue to pray for all those serving Christ in the midst of the continuing struggle for peace.

Sunday 6: Peter and Monica Odero, directors of Heritage Kenya Organization, are flying to the US this month to celebrate their daughter's wedding. Please pray for safe travels and a beautiful time as a family.

Monday 7: Please continue to be in prayer for the family of Agrippa Dube, who passed away unexpectedly on the 1st of September.

Tuesday 8: Praise God for the many men and women who are sharing the Gospel in their communities throughout Africa.

Wednesday 9: Continue to pray with us that God will bring the funds necessary to continue the work He has called us to.

Thursday 10: At the present rate of supply, only one out of every six adult African believers will own a Bible in their lifetime.  Please pray with us that every believer in Africa will have a copy of the Bible.

Friday 11: Please pray for our Country Directors throughout Africa as they come alongside the teachers and trainers of our Applied Education program in 23 countries.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.” Colossians 4:2-4

Saturday 12: Please pray for the Lizulu Orphan Care program which serves 500 orphans with food, medical care, schooling, clothing, toiletries, & transportation.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26

Sunday 13: Praise God for those whose support provides accessible education to children living in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya through the New Dawn Educational Centre.

Monday 14: Praise God for African Leadership’s Country Directors across the continent of Africa.

Tuesday 15: Please pray for the many men and women in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS, that they may get the treatment and counseling needed to live healthy lives. Pray for the Heritage Kenya Organization and the Living Hope Health Care Center that minister to HIV/AIDS patients in a variety of ways.

Wednesday 16: Pray for our upcoming Tanzania Teacher Training Workshop in November and the leaders who will be convening prior to the conference, as well as those who will be leading the development of our teachers.

Thursday 17: Praise God for those who have taken on a Purpose Project to raise funds in support of our Community Investment projects.

Friday 18: Praise God for Mezack Nkundabantu. Mezack is our Country Director in both Rwanda and Burundi. Pray for him as he mentors the teachers and students in our Applied Education network.

Saturday 19: Please pray for the men and women who will participate today in the African Leadership Golf Tournament which will benefit the 6 of 6 Bible initiative!  We are thankful for the support of John Murphy and the many sponsors of this event.

Sunday 20: Please pray as we raise funds to ship a container of desperately needed medical supplies to hospitals and health centers in Malawi.

"Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise." James 5:13

Monday 21: Praise God for the work of the Mocha Club which supports our Community Investment projects through donors giving up a few mochas a month.

Tuesday 22: Please pray for the nearly 3,000 orphans in the Lizulu area of Malawi and for African Leadership’s work there to care for them.

Wednesday 23: Praise God for the New Dawn Mji Wa Huruma dispensary filling an immense healthcare void through a partnership between the Kenyan Ministry of Health and New Dawn Kenya.

Thursday 24: Praise God for all those who graciously support African Leadership through prayer and funding.

Friday 25: Praise God for our Country Director in Malawi, Ruben Nkhata. Please pray for courage, strength, and wisdom as he serves there.

Saturday 26: Ellilta Products is pursuing project investors for their scarf manufacturing business. Pray that God will bring the right partners with strategic business insight to help mold their next few years.

Sunday 27: Pray for us as we follow God’s leading into a partnership with Bible Societies in the U.S. and across Africa to apply the healing words of Scripture to those who have experienced deep trauma in Africa.

Monday 28: Praise God for the men and women dedicated to attending our Applied Education classes throughout Africa. Please pray for wisdom and understanding in the application of all that they are learning.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18

Tuesday 29: Please pray for Cherry Friedmeyer, project director at Ellita: Women at Risk as she begins the cycle of trauma healing and counseling to a new group of women recovering from life on the streets.

Wednesday 30: Praise God for the opportunity available to those with a heart for Africa to travel to the continent with one of our teams on an upcoming journey.

Thursday 31: Pray for the churches and communities throughout Africa, that each member would grow in faith in our Heavenly Father.
