Thousands of pastors across the vast span of Africa have graduated from African Leadership’s two-year degree program. Here is a story from Andrew Phiri, a graduate of our program in Zambia. Prior to enrolling in this program, Andrew struggled to grasp the full measure of grace offered through Jesus Christ. Since he could not embrace this in his personal life, how much harder must it have been to help his congregation abide in this life-changing reality? That is until one day, when a friend introduced Andrew to the courses offered through African Leadership. After graduation, Andrew has testified that he “gets” the core message of salvation and can better bring it to others. For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth (Mal 2:7 NIV). Bringing college to pastors Your support helps pastors like Andrew attend a two-year, 10-course, 2,500 page curriculum translated into nine languages. Access is key, so all classes are taught by African church leaders in local communities, as opposed to central campuses. Pastors like Andrew cannot afford to leave behind their families, jobs, and farms to go to Bible College, so we bring the college to them. All of this happens for just $48 per pastor per year.
